Schools for Key Officers at Times Square Convention Center

School For Key Officers organised by District 308-B1 took place on the 19th July 2009 (1.30pm to 5pm) at 14th floor Times Square Convention Center. Our club members that attended the School includes Ln Lincoln (English), Ln Mandy Teoh (Mandarin) & Ln TC Lau (Speaker for English School).

For the School in English for Club Presidents, there are 3 major module being taught.

1st day of the District Community Exhibition viz Blood Donation Campaign

Date 17th July 2009, which was the 1st day of the grand District Community Service Exhibition & Blood donation campaign that was held at the Lower Ground Concourse area at Times Square, Kuala Lumpur. As for our Club, LC of KL OUG, those attended this official event includes Ln Lincoln Song & Ln Sidney Shid

The event was officially launched at about 2.45pm whereby our Guest of Honor IGP Yang Dihormati Tan Sri Musa bin Hassan arrived at the scene with a huge army of policemen and policewomen of various ranks ranging from constable to ACP from various department.

Shortly after the arrival of the GOH and taking his seating, the official event started with the message from our DG Ln Datuk Danny Ooi. Followed by a message from IGP Tan Sri Musa bin Hassan.In his message, IGP express concern on making our country a crime free city whereby all citizen is able to walk out of the street at any time of the night without having to fear of snatch thief or breakins. He also encourage and promote the Rakan Cop program.

Thereafter, the event proceeded with the official opening ceremony by IGP and our DG Datuk Danny Ooi. After the opening ceremony is the presentation of wheelchair by LC of KL South, presentation of fruit basket to IGP YDH Tan Sri Musa b. Hassan. Entertainment commences thereof.

At the meantime IGP Tan Sri Musa b. Hassan pay visit to all the exhibition booths. Entertainment then follows.

The entire 1st day event ends at 5.30pm. Nevertheless, there will be more exciting demo tomorrow afternoon to be presented by the PDRM on techniques to dwelt with snatch thieves.

President Appreciation Fellowship 5.7.09

Time flies soon it was time for the a new fiscal term to commence. Traditionally each fiscal term both the outgoing & the incoming President will gather together and organise an appreciation dinner to thank all contributing members for their hardwork and contribution to the club throughout the fiscal term. This year is of no any difference, as for this year, this meaningful event was scheduled on the 5th day of the Seventh month, 2009 at Pearl International Hotel, Jalan Kelang Lama, Kuala Lumpur at 7pm. We are in debt to the Organising Chairman Ln Saw Choo Hong, Master of Ceremony PP Ln Thomas Kok as well as all his fellow subcomittee members who had make this event an enjoyable, interesting and program rich.



On this occasion we are extremely grateful to PDG Ln Wong Chang Wai who had accepted to be our Guest Of Honor for the event. Our heartiest thanks to Region Chairman Ln Cheah Kim Hai, Zone Chairman Ln Ee Yoke Seng, Zone Chairman Designate Ln Kenny Low & Youth Exchange & Leadership DC Ln Lau Teng Chye who had sacrificed their precious time to attend this event, which add pride to our club.

As for our club members, those attended includes Ln Sidney Shid, Ln Lincoln Song, Ln Mandy Teoh, Ln Bee Huey, Ln Teoh Swee Kim, Ln Dr. Yip Sook Har, Ln Mary Wong, Ln Sou Jim Peng, Ln Chan Huan Keong, Ln Dr. Bernard Tan, Ln Danny Chan, Ln Teoh Teck Kooi, Ln Ang Kok Hua, Jannis Tan, Ln Chua Siak Leng, FIL Mr. Tan Boon Teong, FIL Pearl International Sales Manager Mr. Lawrence & invited guest Ang Ee Wei.



The event started at 8pm when our Guest of Honor PDG Ln Wong Chang Wai arrived. Shortly after, the official event took place with the followings:-

• Shortly after 2 servings of dinner, it was followed by Presiding Officer's speech.

  It was then followed by the presentation of President pin by Guest of Honor PDG Ln Wong Chang Wai to incoming President Ln Lincoln Song.

• The event proceeded with a speech made by Guest of Honor PDG Ln Wong Chang Wai

• Following it was the presentation of appreciation momentos to Club members who has had contributed to the club throughout the fiscal term by IPP Ln Sidney Shid.

  This was followed by the presentation of President Chain to incoming President Ln Lincoln by IPP Ln Sidney Shid.

  Immediately after the presentation of President Chain, it was followed by the presentation of 3 District pins awarded to the best Organising Chairman's pin. The recipient for this pin were IPP Ln Sidney Shid & Incoming President Ln Lincoln Song. PDG Ln Wong Chang Wai was the presenter for the District best OC pin.

• Thereafter, PDG Ln Wong Chang Wai proceeded with the presentation of the 3rd best OC pin to Ln Thomas Kok.

• The evening event proceeded with course of dinner. Proceeding the event was a speech made by RC Ln Cheah Kim Hai, ZC Ln Ee Yoke Seng, DC Ln LauTeng Chye & ZC Elect Ln Kenny Low respectively.

Following it is the presentation of Donation of Rm 2,000 by Ln Dr. Yip Sook Har to Renal Center. The cheque was accepted by PDG Ln Wong Chang Wai.

• The fellowship proceeded with messages to the club by FIL Mr. Lawrence & FIL Mr. Tan Boon Teong.
