Regional Lions Leadership Institute 2009


See how interesting the training session are being conducted. Ln Teoh the facilitator was so committed in delivering his presentation topic during the Regional Leadership course. Also, during the session, the participants are so proactive in raising constructive question to PDG Ln Ng Kim Leng during the seminar session.


Mmm...Thank you PDG Wong Chang Wai for your interesting session. All of us are very attentive busy recording the information being disseminated during the session.



Aiyoyoo...public speaking time during the last session...Guess what my legs are shivering and I could feel the Adrenaline rush up my bleamstream. So how ? Flight or Fright ? Die..die lah.. as Lions we need to be courages ma...so I decided to talk lol...Luckily was taught some of the tips on public speaking by PDG John Low. So, I will speak...So, please don't laugh when you hear some drumming effect behind the rostrum..Legs shaking ma..


See this is our team during the seminar session. All of us make up the best team. PDG Jason & DC Wong is with us. Now LLI done, we can party now. So happy!



Now, we has had just completed our presentation, but there are some still presenting. May be have to sit and listen to what their views on the topic.



Finally, last day now handling over the certificate of attendance...Oops where is my name on the certificate ? PDG where is my certificate of participation till to date ? Guess on cost Saving scheme..hahaha

H1N1 Awareness Campaign

Since the outbreak of the danger species of H1N1 Influenza like Flu Virus Type A gained entry into our country, our Health Ministry has had called on numerous campaigns throughout the country urging the public to undertake all necessary precautions so as to halt the widespread of the disease state. Due to the violence nature of the viruses characteristics, it has had taken many lives ranging from the infant babies to aged adults.
To synchronise with the efforts in preventing this H1N1 from further spread, we Lions Club of KL OUG has had under the recommendation of the Club BOD and their key officers has decided to organise a "H1N1 Prevention campaign" dated on the 26th October 2009, which is a Tuesday, 9am at SJK (T) Kinrara under the immense effort of the OC Ln Saw CH to make this meaningful campaign a success.
In this campaign we has had distributed surfactant solutions of Dettol to all the students as well as facial surgical masks to the students. We has had furnish the students with information on the H1N1 viruses ailments as well as some of the preventive measures in overcoming this violent virus. Below are some of the photos being taken during this event.



The campaign started with an early assembly greetings by the School Principal. This event was attended by Ln Lincoln, Ln Sidney, Ln Bee Huey & Ln Saw.


Following it was the distribution of Dettol solution to the fellow students. Photo on the right showed that Ln Bee Huey was busy distributing the Dettol solution to the students.



Together with it is our club President Ln Lincoln assisted in the distribution of the surfactant solution assisted by OC Ln Saw shortly after the morning greeting assembly.




Ln Sidney who is our Immediate Past President also happily assisted in the campaign.



This was immediately followed by an exchange of momentos to the school principal, Mr. John and vice versa.

Mooncake festival Fellowship







As for this year our club organises its Mooncake Festival cerebration on the 2nd October 2009 at RT Sector D. The Organizing Chairman for this event is Ln Sou Jim Peng. This year's cerebration we have Organised various activities. The fellowship started off with fellowship followed by playing various fun games.









Following it was Karaoke singing. The entire event ends at 11.30pm. Those attended the event includes Ln Sidney, Ln Thomas, Ln Mandy, Ln Lincoln, Ln Lau Teng Chye , Ln Sam Len Seng, Ln Tan See Shing, Ln Teoh Swee Khim, Ln Margaret Chong, Ln Khoo Bee Huey, Ln Sou Jim Peng & Ln Mary Wong.These are some of the pictures being taken from the fellowship.
